On March 31, 2023, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation announced the winners of the competitive selection for the creation and development of technology transfer centers (TTCs) within the framework of the federal project "Development of large-scale scientific and scientific-technological projects in priority research areas" of the national project "Science and Universities"project, implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The program SPbPU TTC "Center for Transfer and Import Substitution of Advanced Digital and Manufacturing Technologies" was ranked in the top 5 of the competition winners.

Areas of Activity
- Identification of intellectual property (IP), legal protection of IP, including patent research, development of proposals for the use (implementation) of IP in the field of advanced digital and manufacturing technologies.
- Assisting in the subsequent registration of created IP in the field of advanced digital and manufacturing technologies.
- Commercialization of IP of scientific organizations and higher education institutions in the field of advanced digital and manufacturing technologies.
- Participation in the planning of R&D activities by scientific organizations and higher education institutions that may result in IP.
- Assistance in implementing proposals developed for SPbPU for the use (deployment) of intellectual activity results (IAR) in advanced digital and manufacturing technologies.
- Conclusion of contracts by SPbPU and (or) other scientific and higher education organizations with interested parties for R&D in advanced digital and manufacturing technologies.
- Provision of educational services in the field of intellectual property and technology transfer in advanced digital and manufacturing technologies.
