General information

To perform surgical interventions and study the safety and efficacy of medical devices, the CDTI Complex features a 50 m2 operating room. The operating room is equipped with two surgical tables and a full range of anesthesia, respiratory, and resuscitation equipment. The facility is equipped with a Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgical system, a C-arm, an X-ray machine, a heart-lung machine, expert-class ultrasound machines, laparoscopic towers, and more.

Types of studies on laboratory animals:
• X-ray endovascular interventions (implantation of stents, stent-grafts, artificial valves)
• Operations under cardiopulmonary bypass (heart transplantation, open valve replacement)
• Endoscopic operations on abdominal organs
• Assessment of the functional state of the cardiovascular system in chronic experiments (stress testing, echocardiography, cardiac catheterization),
and others.
