Design Bureau KB 78 has been operating since 2014. Our team includes specialists from various fields, from programming and engineering to metalworking. A staff of 35 develops concepts, creates prototypes using modern technologies, 3D modeling, and CNC, designs and prepares engineering documentation, selects and procures components, and manufactures new equipment, units, machine tools, and complexes. We have our own assembly and machining shop. Our customers and partners are located across Russia and worldwide.

We provide full project support. Our core competencies include ground-up design, reverse engineering, and the production of custom industrial equipment, robotics, consumer technology, and integrated systems.We develop:

- automated systems for positioning, coating, surface cleaning, cargo handling, and raw material dosing in the production cycle;
- test units, stands, aviation and sports simulators, medical equipment for measurement, research, and expertise;
- machine tools for milling and turning, plasma cutting of sheet metal, burning and engraving, and woodworking;
- control systems and CAM programs for painting, weaving, and metalworking CNC centers.
How we work
We prefer an integrated approach to control all stages of project implementation and guarantee an exact solution to the customer's business objectives.- we discuss your idea, formulate and approve the technical specifications, budget, and development timeline;
- we perform preliminary design and develop a 3D model of the future equipment;
- we prepare a complete project with calculations, release of detailed design documentation, and development of testing methodologies;
- we supervise production, including selection and procurement of components for the task, manufacturing, and commissioning;
- we hand over the finished equipment at our site and organize delivery to the destination.
Cost, delivery details, and the choice of transport company are agreed upon with the customer. Payment terms are discussed individually, and we offer various options:
- 100% payment for components and 50% payment for labor after concluding a fixed-price supply contract;
- payment for each project step separately with a milestone contract and the possibility of price adjustments at each stage upon agreement with the customer.
