Russian UAVs to be equipped with domestically produced propellers

A resident of the Saint Petersburg Technopark UAS Research and Production Center Kozitsky Plant JSC has completed a full cycle of testing for a new line of propellers created from domestic materials.

These are 10-inch propellers for unmanned aerial vehicles, developed in two modifications:

  • propeller type No. 1 (narrow) – for high-speed flight modes;
  • type No. 2 propeller (wide) – to ensure maximum thrust and energy efficiency.

The parts, manufactured from glass-filled polyamide, have passed endurance, strength, and climatic tests. The results confirmed their compliance with aviation safety and reliability requirements, as well as their readiness for safe operation on various classes of aircraft. The propellers are designed for installation on domestic UAVs and can be used for civil, industrial (including agro-industrial), and special purposes.

Serial production of the products has already been launched, and an expansion of the UAV product line is planned for the near future. Specialists from the Kozitsky Plant note that the use of Russian materials has increased the reliability of the propellers and optimized production processes.
