A state fund of funds established in 2006 to develop the venture capital market of the Russian Federation.
Since 2021, as part of the reform of development institutions, RVC has been part of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), the sovereign wealth fund of the Russian Federation.
RVC invests in venture funds focused on investing in Russian technology companies. RVC's strategy involves careful selection of new funds and investing based on a co-investment model that has proven its effectiveness within the RDIF's activities.
RVC supports technology startups and innovative companies through the creation of venture funds, ecosystem development, and government programs. Key areas include IT, biotech, new materials, Industry 4.0, and digital technologies.
