Skolkovo project participant status is the status of a Russian legal entity engaged in research activities and the commercialization of its results in accordance with the law "On Skolkovo".
Project participants are companies that have passed expert selection and meet the requirements. These are primarily young companies specializing in advanced technologies.
Participant status entitles you to the following benefits:
Participant status is granted for 10 years, but it may be revoked early for violations.

- simplified procedure for inclusion in the register of small technology companies — this increases their visibility in investment communities and facilitates attracting finance.

- Formal verification of the completeness and correctness of the application and attached documents.
- Verification of the project's alignment with the Foundation's innovation priorities.
- Substantive examination.
Substantive examination criteria:
- 1. The product and (or) technology created within the startup project must possess potential competitive advantages over analogues available on the Russian market;
- 2. The product or technology possesses significant commercialization potential, at least on the Russian market, and in the long term – on the global market;
- 3. The project is theoretically feasible and does not contradict fundamental scientific principles;
- 4. Key researchers, developers, and project managers (Project Team) possess the knowledge, scientific or industrial experience, and entrepreneurial potential necessary for successful project implementation and related to the project topic.
